Melissa Lawrence’s life had been planned out for her.  As a wife in the upper echelon of New York society, she was expected to take her place among some of the wealthiest people in America.  A society that judges you on your looks will ignore certain things because of the money your family possesses, which you will eventually inherit; however, certain peccadillos will never be acceptable, and as Melissa becomes Mel and begins to realize her potential, life sends her on a journey she never could have anticipated.

Alinta, raised in a simple land far from the white man, is suddenly thrust into their realm through no fault of her own.  Suddenly, she must learn to survive amongst these strange, unfamiliar creatures.  But not all white men treat her the same: Some see her as the frightened girl she is, and some see her as the amazing woman she is about to become.  Follow along as this primitive aboriginal child/woman attempts to survive in a new and rapidly changing world.

Melissa Lawrence swims ashore in Australia.  She has no idea what to expect after escaping her captors.  Since becoming Mel Lawrence, she finds her interests are expanding beyond just the “woman of means” role she had been raised to accept.  After finding someone to teach her about becoming a grazer, she herds a flock of sheep into the Australian outback.  She never imagined she would find a mate, a land that challenges her, and a life she felt she was bred for.

Senora Mary Carmen Valenzuela Pearson inherits half a ranch, a sheep station in the Outback of Australia.  As a ranch owner in Central California this creates a problem for the American.  Deciding to sell her ranch and travel to see what her uncle has left her, she loads up her children, her cousins, their families, and her valuable horses and takes a ship to Australia.  The journey will take months by water and months once she gets to Sydney to arrive on the station.  Follow along as Carmen finds out where she truly belongs, if this Outback station is part of her heritage.

A Woman Down Under Series

A Woman Down Under Series Mock up 3Something the fans have said (and I do listen) is that they hate to wait for a new book in a series to come out.  Once their interest is engaged, they want to know what is going to happen in the next part of the series, right away, not to have to wait.  Well, that’s where this series is a little different.  These are the first four in what I hope will become a fantastic and captivating series for my fans, new and old, to follow.

See, not only is this series new, but it takes place in about the 1850’s of Australia, in the Outback and is told by four different women from their perspective.  No, it isn’t the same story told four different times, but rather their stories told from their points of view and what happens to them.

You can buy any of these and read them in any order too, which I thought might be a plus, another thing that readers sometimes worry about, did they get all of them in the series, are they in order.

* I’m releasing them on the same day, so you don’t have to wait.

* I’m releasing them as novellas, in paperback, on the same day too!

* I’m releasing them on Kindle Unlimited, something I haven’t done in ages, so you can get them potentially for free if you have joined their program.

If you aren’t on Kindle Unlimited, and that is okay, they are only $4.99 *US and really for under $5 you can’t believe the adventure you are about to embark upon!

I really want people to try out my writings, some who might not have read my historical romances before.  Also, my current fans will have this new and awesome series to enjoy as they already know I write detailed and dramatic stories.

So don’t wait, pre-order your copy today from Amazon!

Btw, there are more already written and waiting to come out, but, one at a time, okay?  It’s making my editor’s hair turn gray!  Lol.  I have been working on this for a while because I wanted to try this concept of releasing the series all at once.

Only these first four will be on Kindle Unlimited, the rest, as they are available will come out normally (for me) and randomly and be available on all the platforms.

Enjoy!
